A leading electrical contracting firm has an immediate opening for a Electrical Designer for office in Washington State. The ideal candidate will have a BSEE and PE, or ability to obtain certification, and at least 3-5 years experience in electrical systems for buildings (lighting, HVAC, Fire Alarm Systems, etc.). The engineering experience required will be in the commercial, healthcare, education, and institutional industries. This position requires a high degree of technical aptitude in the building industry, excellent communication skills, multitasking ability, and a positive attitude. The candidate will be able to demonstrate an aptitude for building and energy codes, the technical aspects of facilities management, and communicating these concepts to the building industry. Must have excellent presentation and writing skills. Must be proficient in AutoCAD and engineering modeling tools. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
